Description:
Built in the late 1800’s, the Chapel required complete interior demolition including removal of an interior upper chapel ceiling exposing German artistry. New drywall high ceilings were then installed and the artistry was duplicated. The 10 stained glass window units were removed and reinstalled to their original beauty. The 100’ bell tower was shored and new foundation work was installed. The main sanctuary finishes consisted of refinished wood floors and “award” winning millwork.
The first floor received new walls, flooring, wall covering and woodworking in the small chapel area. The lower level/basement included new finishes for classrooms along with new mechanical systems, hot water heating, and electrical to service the facility. Foundations were treated with waterproofing and drain tiles.
The exterior skin of the building was sandblasted and cleaned along with stone restoration work. |
