Description:
After deciding to consolidate its numerous broadcast facilities into one home, Clear Channel Communications chose to relocate to the entire 4th floor of the 6200 Oak Tree Building, once the corporate headquarters for Centerior Energy. Upon selecting Panzica Construction Company as the construction manager in January 2001, the overall project was fast-tracked because of the requirement to be complete by mid-April 2001. This 57,000 s.f., full-floor build-out featured complex coordination and installation of all the requisite electrical and tele-data cabling work along with the challenging field assembly of the production/broadcast studios; such construction requiring very close attention to detail to ensure relative acoustic perfection.
