| Description: General trades contract included auxiliary gym with two basketball courts and removable bleachers and concrete floor with portable wooden floor for basketball with capacity to 15,000 spectators. Upper levels include flexible conference space and atrium. Ten-story arena containing 3,500 tons of steel in roof alone. Largest of eight central trusses is 309 feet long, weights 300 tons. Three 2-ton chilling units power the air conditioning system. Energy-saving computer system including monitor detectors to trigger lights. |
