Description:
This unique project transformed an existing indoor tennis club housed in two giant pre-engineered buildings into a custom ice skating facility. The 94,000 square-foot property features two full-sized NHL regulation ice rinks and a third "studio" rink to be used for warm-ups, practice and other activities.

A 40' x 300' structure connecting the two buildings contains a raised viewing area into both buildings for spectators and a lower level with locker rooms, restrooms and showers. The site also features a lobby, party rooms, food service area and pro shop. Panzica renovated the tennis court areas in each building by adding a one-foot cross-section on top of the existing floor to create the new ice floors. This fast-track project was completed in four months.

Iceland USA is used by private organizations such as schools, sports teams and professional ice skaters, and is also available for public use.
